SCT and ASA inaugurate fuel station in Tuxtla Gutierrez
Mexico City,- In order to increase coverage in fuel supply in Mexico, the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, through the airports administration company Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares, inaugurated a fuel station in Tuxtla Gutierrez International Airport in Chiapas.
In a press release, the Ministry informed that the terminal, where MXP$74 million were invested, will have larger capacity to store fuel for airplanes, in order to provide prompt and efficient service to aircrafts landing in this airport. Fuel used to be supplied with fuel tank trucks from a fuel plant: Planta de Combustibles de Llano San Juan, Chiapas.
There will be two vertical tanks for turbosine storage, 500 thousand liters each; one 60 thousand liters tank to store gaseous fuel and one water container with capacity for 700 thousand liters.
