Mexico, the most competitive in manufactures in the continent
Mexico City,- Signs of economic rebound in Mexico, after the world financial crisis, made of Mexico the most competitive in manufactures in North America Region, even above countries such as China, India and Brazil.
Upon disclosing indicators from consulting firms, such as AT Kearney and Boston Consulting, the Minister of the Economy, Gerardo Ruiz Mateos, said there have been positive economic results in the last few months.
He added that from last August to date there have been changes in production volumes by more than 43 transnational companies, which have transferred to Mexico operations from Asia, other Latin American countries, Europe and other regions in the world.
He said that this is due to the fact that Mexico is considered a more competitive country, less expensive to have access to the US market “and we are therefore boosting the attraction of investment and jobs generation through export manufactures”.
