Employment will raise in Ciudad Juarez
Chihuahua,– Employment faces a positive outlook in Ciudad Juarez; 24% employers are planning to recruit personnel in the first quarter of 2010, according to Manpower’s World Expectations Survey.
The report states that 68% of companies interviewed in Juarez will leave their labor force intact, while the rest are considering layoffs between January and March next year.
Employment expectations show a 12% positive balance, the report states.
Alfredo Ruiz Orozco, Accounts Manager for Manpower, and Cesar Antonio Chavez Zapata, Coparmex (Employers Association) President in Chihuahua City, both informed that in the State of Chihuahua occupation is expected to go up 8% in the first quarter of 2010, a number which even if far from the 24% reached in 2007 and 2008, still shows a positive trend when compared to 2009 figures.
