Employment improving
Merida, Yucatan,- In southeastern Mexico, employers are anticipating rather optimistic hiring expectations for the second quarter of 2010, Manpower informed yesterday.
Upon disclosing a report about a quarterly study, Manpower said that, according to a survey, in Merida 21% of companies say they will increase their employment perspectives, 7% considers they will reduce their labor force, 71% sees no changes in hiring expectations and 1% is uncertain about recruitment plans for the next quarter.
Throughout Mexico, from 4,800 employers surveyed, 24% are expecting an increase in their labor forces within the next three months. For the fourth quarter in a row Mexican employers remain confident.
