Coahuila has significantly contributed to business growth
Coahuila, Mexico,- Coahuila is the state in Mexico which has generated the largest number of formal jobs this year, from June 2009 to June 2010, 49 thousand 933 employees have been registered in Social Security, Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), according to figures disclosed by IMSS itself.
Coahuila therefore posted a 10.34% growth in employment, outdoing Queretaro, Aguascalientes and Nuevo Leon, which went up 10.33%, 5.74% y 6.46% respectively, according to a press release. Jalisco posted a 3.63% increase, Chihuahua 8.17%, the State of Mexico 5.47% and Mexico City only 0.88%.
On this issue, Jorge Alanis Canales, Minister of Economic Foster, pointed-out that “Coahuila is leader in the number of workers registered in IMSS, with a growth over 6% when compared to June 2009”.
