Monterrey, Mexico.- 10 years after starting operating as Whirlpool Mexico, the company is bringing more production and increases its investment to gain a larger share of the market. 10 years ago, Whirlpool was established in Mexico with the purchase of Vitromatic and it has not stopped growing ever since.In such 10 years, Whirlpool Mexico grew from two to four plants, two of them in Apodaca, one in Celaya and another one in Ramos Arizpe, where they manufacture several models of washing machines, refrigerators, frigo-bars and stoves for the domestic and export markets.
With corporate offices in Apodaca, Whirlpool also has three technological centers there and one more in Celaya. Whirlpool Mexico has benefited from the relocation of some production lines for being part of the company’s North America Region. Whirlpool has 70 manufacturing plants and design and technological centers all over the world.
