Mexico.- Potential of solar power market in Mexico is significant, but it will not be developed “overnight”, it will be done gradually, according to Francisco Solis Baeza, CEO, Conermex, a company that integrates renewable energies solutions; who further said that from all the energy used in Mexico only 20% comes from natural sources.
He said that Mexico is in a privileged position due to the natural resources available here. For example, the company said, “Sonora Desert is one of the five zones with the highest insolation in the world”.
However, he cleared out that “this industry will not be developed ‘overnight’, it will be done gradually and throughout the years we will see how solar power will have a larger share”.
