Mexico City,- In spite of the crisis in the air industry, Snecma America Engine Services –a company devoted to aircraft engines repair– is forecasting sound growth in the next 3 years.Snecma considers its engines repair plant located in Queretaro will growth times three in such 3 years. Airlines cannot cancel aircraft maintenance costs, even if there is crisis in the industry, assured Fernado Comenge, Sales and Marketing Director in Mexico and Regional Director for the American Continent.
In the next 3 or 4 years, he informed, they are expecting to invest US$20 million more, for they will increase services offer with the repair of CFM56-7B engine, which powers Boeing Twinjets 737 NG. To this purpose they will increase their labor force from the current 140 people to 250 by 2015. “In Mexico we have found qualified labor in every area, workshop, mechanics and engineering”, he assured.
