Saltillo, Coahuila,- Out of the 7 thousand temporary workers that trade, services and tourism sectors hire for November, December and January, 3% will stay to permanently work for the sector, translating into 210 permanent jobs, while the remaining 6 thousand 790 will be laid off when the job for which they were temporarily hired is done.

Eduardo Davila Aguirre, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, informed that this sector will generate 70 thousand jobs. He further said that in the Holidays their labor force usually goes up by 20% with temporary jobs, but this year the percentage is lower due to the economic situation, reaching only 10%, i.e. 7 thousand temporary jobs.
