Matamoros, Mexico,- In spite of adverse conditions of global economy, the Committee for Matamoros Economic Development is working on seven new industrial investment projects by foreign businessmen, who consider this city as the right place for their expansions, pointing-out that none of them is from the automotive branch.

The new investment projects were disclosed by the Committee for Matamoros Economic Development during their ordinary meeting, where they stressed that they have to work harder now, because in this crisis the competition to attract the little foreign investment to be made has grown stronger, especially among Tamaulipas border cities.

The investment projects in which the Committee for Matamoros Economic Development is currently working are with companies in cosmetics packing, several steel companies, security alarms, doors structures, electronic controls and structure.
