Celaya, Mexico.- Jesus Torres Ramos, Chairman of Celaya Chapter of Mexican Employers Confederation, Coparmex-Celaya, informed that the project to build an industrial park for automotive supplies, promised by Governor Juan Manuel Oliva Ramirez, is going well.
Mr. Torres said that these works could be a pivot to catapult Celaya to greater progress.
During the presentation of the Fourth State of the Government Address, Oliva Ramirez confirmed the construction of an Automotive Supplies Park in Celaya, with an investment for MXP$48.5 million, supplemented with works with social and economic impact, such as the Multimodal Terminal and Bicentennial Turnpike currently under construction.
With this project, Celaya is aiming to set a position in Laja-Bajio Region as leader in attracting investment. According to official data, in the last few years Celaya has received 26 investments, representing US$622 million and the generation of 9,800 jobs.
