Mexico City.- Infiniti deluxe cars will be sold as of next fall in Mexico. It will start with sports sedan G37 and its coupe version, the deluxe sedan Infiniti M56, sports crossover FX50 and the full-size deluxe car QX56.
“As part of Infiniti’s expansion throughout the world, Mexico is the next step for this brand”, Carlos Tavares, President, Nissan Americas, said.
According to information from the company, as of the third quarter of 2011 Infiniti vehicles will be sold through five dealerships located in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
The company will be headed by Jeff Lackore, as Infiniti’s CEO in Mexico, who will report to Jose Muñoz, President, Nissan Mexicana, as well as to Ben Poore, Vice-president, Infiniti Business Unit, Nissan Americas.
Other executives appointed are: Omar Zuñiga, Products and Prices Manager; Cynthia Flores, Marketing and Communications Manager; and Roberto Martinez, Retail Sales and Performance Manager.
