Mexico City,- Nestlé announced an investment for 500 million Swiss Francs (US$486 million) in several coffee-related projects by 2020 in Mexico.
This Project, named El Plan Nescafe, is a Project where Nestlé makes several commitments related to coffee crop growing, production and consumption, adding to US$486.854,917.00.

Nestlé Group informed that within the next five years they will double the amount of coffee purchased for their Nescafe brand from farmers and associations, and the idea is purchasing 180,000 tons of coffee from around 170,000 farmers every year.
