Mexico,- MAN SE, the German firm devoted to trucks engineering and assembly, informed last. Wednesday that they are planning to assemble 2,000 trucks per year at their new plant in Queretaro, Mexico, mainly for the Mexican market.Antonio Roberto Cortes, CEO in Latin America, said in an interview published at the company’s Website that production will include both, VW and MAN vehicles.
Volkswagen AG (VW) sold its heavy cargo trucks division in Latin America to MAN, of which Volkswagen is major stockholder with a 29.9% share.
Cortes said that MAN is focused on keeping growth in Latin America and other emerging markets.
