Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.-Even if lack of safety is a reason of concern for Spaniard community, it would not affect the arrival of companies from the Old Continent, Jose Manuel Ramirez Arrazola, Spaniard Consul in Monterrey, pointed out.
Prior to a meeting in the Government Palace with the Secretary of the Interior, Alvaro Ibarra, Ramirez Arrazola pointed-out that even if lack of safety in Nuevo Leon is a reason of concern for the Spaniard government, it would not stop Spaniard companies from entering commercial and business agreements at the state, and further said that there are close to 400 Spaniard companies established in Nuevo Leon.
“I think there are Spaniard companies here that know they can work here in Nuevo Leon, resting fully assured on the effort being made by Nuevo Leon’s Government and Mexico’s Government in general to fight violence and lack of safety; there are close to 400 companies, between small and big, established here”, he said.
Mr. Ramirez Arrazola further said that trade channels between Nuevo Leon and Spain have always been open to investments, and that the growth rate at this state is as high as countries of international size, speaking in trade terms, such as India.
