Saltillo, Coahuila.- After a positive year closing as far as employment is concerned, Mario Enrique Morales Rodriguez, leader at the state for CROC Workers Union, forecasted a good outlook for 2012 and said that several companies will be expanding their labor forces. Even if he would not detail the number of jobs to be created in the first days of next year, in the southeast region at least three companies in automotive supplies field will add from 20 to 40 people to their teams.
One of the companies in Coahuila, devoted to auto parts manufacturing, is even considering the possibility to build a new plant, with the corresponding jobs this would create for both Saltillo and Piedras Negras.
During 2011 CROC only regretted the loss of 150 represented jobs, plus the white collar jobs lost to the closing of Fortis Plastics Groups due to problems in the United States; the plants closed by this company in Mexico were located in Chihuahua and Ramos Arizpe.
