Monterrey, Mexico.— Gamesa has plans to invest US$100 million this year to improve processes at the nine plants they have in Mexico and increase exports.
Roberto Martinez, CEO, said that their new Advanced Baking Center in Apodaca, where 100 scientists are already working, will contribute to enrich cookies innovation not only in Mexico but throughout the world.
They have also exported their expertise for the operation of the new cookies plants they are buying in South America, the most recent in Argentina and Brazil.
“A few years ago their first cookies plant outside Mexico was installed in Colombia, and Gamesa Mexico’s operations, research, development and sales teams were essential in running the plant”, he explained.
He said that their business is not focused on Mexico only, but they have a global vision to export their expertise all over the world.
