Mexico,- Corporación Frontera Copper said they will temporarily suspend their mining works in. Piedras Verdes, Mexico, affected by low copper prices, which causes a short-term cut-down of around 100 employees.

This Canadian Mining Company informed copper production will continue on a gradually descending basis, while their dissolution operations will continue without interruption. Alan Edwards, CEO, informed through a press release that their cash flow will be significantly improved by stopping their mining activities, eliminating the most significant component of their production costs.

The Company is expecting to resume mining activities as soon as copper prices stabilize and the outlook for this red mineral’s market is improved.
