Mexico, distrito Federal,- Chrysler LLC presented yesterday in Chicago Autoshow their new 2010 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty trucks, which will be assembled in their plant in Saltillo, Coahuila because it is one of the most flexible plants the Company has.“Our new 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 line continues consolidating our leadership in light trucks segment”, said Scott Kunselman, Vice-president, Jeep /Truck Product Team for Chrysler LLC.
Chrysler’s new light trucks, Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 model 2010 will be manufactured in the Assembly Plant in Saltillo, Coahuila. This plant is one of the Company’s most flexible.
Saltillo Assembly Plant has more than 1,500 workers and is one of 5 Chrysler LLC plants in Mexico.
Chrysler started operations in Mexico in 1938, they currently have 5,000 employees. Manufacturing operations include 5 plants located in Saltillo and Toluca, as well as Corporate Offices in Mexico City.
