Mexicali, Baja California.- In order to position Mexicali within aerospace industry due to the type of companies established in the City, a promotion tour was made to Brazil, with 2.5 days of constant activities headed by Francisco Perez Tejada Padilla, Mexicali City Mayor; Eugenio Lagarde Amaya, Chairman of Mexicali Industrial Development Commission (CDI); Alfredo Garcia Estrada, Director, CDI and Guillermo Quintana Soto, from Grupo Desarrollador PIMSA and Member of CDI Board of Counselors.
“The main purpose of the tour was establishing links with San Jose dos Campos as sister city, because this city is considered a point of reference in aerospace industry and we want now to start an exchange with every city with a name in aerospace industry to position Mexicali in the sector for the type of companies we have”, Alfredo Garcia Estrada, CDI Director, said.
