Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.- Flextronics, TYCO, ADC, SEISA, Electrolux, Plexus, among other big maquila companies will meet with potential suppliers at an encounter organized by the Maquiladora Industry Suppliers Catalog, Catalogo de Proveedores de la Industria Maquiladora (CAPIM), a program operated by the Mexican Chamber of Information Technologies Industry (Canieti) and the Ministry of the Economy.
Rene Mendoza Acosta, Director, Camara Nacional de la Industria de la Tecnologia de la Informacion (Canieti), said that CAPIM is a contact system for suppliers and maquilas, which provides maquiladoras with the opportunity to see by themselves suppliers production capacity and quality, and even know who their main customers are, giving suppliers a great advantage to find customers.
