Guadalajara, Mexico.- Bridgestone, the tires manufacturer, is considering installing a plant in the Americas, and one of the countries competing for the plant is Mexico. According to Daniel Benvenuti, President and CEO, Bridgestone Mexico, a decision will be made by the summer of 2012 on the location of the new industrial complex, even if he would not disclose the amount of the investment.
“We are analyzing a project in the region, and the announcement may be made rather soon”, he said.
“One of the destinations could be Mexico; I consider that next year announcements will be made, based on the significant growth we see in the region and our share of the market”, he further pointed-out in an interview.
