Mexico City,- The Spaniard Group BBVA will invest US$900 million in the new corporate headquarters of its Mexican subsidiary BBVA Bancomer, to be inaugurated in 2012 in two buildings located in Mexico City.“This is proof of the Group’s commitment to Mexico and what this great country means to us”, Francisco Gonzalez, BBVA President said today in Mexico City.
"BBVA Bancomer has an excellent present and a promising future, with a great potential for growth”, Gonzalez said, and spoke about the support they give to the country’s development by “providing access to financial services to millions of families and small companies throughout Mexico”.
Ignacio Deschamps, BBVA Bancomer President and CEO, said that “this investment by BBVA Bancomer, amidst an economic crisis is undoubtedly great news for Mexico City and the whole country”.
