Mexico City.- The Mexican Automotive Industry modified up their domestic sales estimate and forecasted they will have sell more than one million vehicles in Mexico by the end of 2012. In a press conference, representatives from the Mexican Dealerships Association and the Mexican Automotive Industry Association (Distribuidores de Automotores (AMDA) and Industria Automotriz (AMIA)) informed new vehicles production and export records reached.
Guillermo Rosales, Institutional Relations Director for AMDA, said that from 880,000 units originally estimated to be sold this year, the figure could reach 1 million 20 thousand units.
