Guadalajara, Mexico.- Due to its proximity to states with automotive vocation, such as Guanajuato, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosi, Lagos de Moreno is working on becoming a pole to attract investments from companies revolving around such sector.
Ruben Macias. Head of Economic Development Department in Lagos De Moreno City Council, said that to such purpose plans are to build two industrial parks, one of them private and another one with investment from the Federal Government.
The investment in the private park is expected to reach around MXP$400 million (a little over US$30 million); construction is expected to start by the end of this year.
