Mexico.- It will be next September when Audi Group informs the site chosen in Mexico to build a new vehicles assembly plant, where the new generation of Q5 All-Terrain Van will be manufactured and will become the first Audi factory in the Americas.
This will start production of hi-end vehicles in Mexico; but as a matter of fact, Audi could assemble some other model in addition to Q5, a new member of Audi’s Q family, several auto parts and components manufacturers have mentioned.
And even if the new plant’s location will not be announced before September, for the time being the states of Queretaro and Puebla remain on top of the list as the strongest candidates.
