Jalisco, Mexico.- Vestas will manufacture for Regeneracion Electrica Mexicana, known as Dragon Group, 28 V100-1.8 MW wind turbines for Los Altos Aeolian Park.
In a press release dated in Madrid, Vestas informed that they will be in charge of such task after receiving an order for 50.4 megawatts (MW) for said project, the biggest to be installed outside Tehuantepec Isthmus.
The agreement includes the delivery and setup of wind turbines, in addition to a 10-year maintenance agreement.
Vestas, an Aeolian solutions company, said that the supply for Los Altos Aeolian Park is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2012, and the project could be completed by the second quarter of 2013.
