New vehicles sales went up 25% in Ciudad Juarez last month, according to Union de Concesionarios de Autos Nuevos Asociacion, the local dealerships association.
A report by the Association also says that in June 563 vehicles were sold in Ciudad Juarez, while in even month last year they had sold 451 units, i.e. a 25% year-to-year increase, doubling the figures of sales throughout Mexico in such term, where the increase was only 12%.
According to data from local dealerships, the increase in sales is due to improved economic conditions in the city, where employment posted significant growth in the first 6 months of the year.
