Durango, Mexico.- Tyson started expanding their facilities in Durango’s La Laguna Region, where they will invest MXP$1.8 billion to become the largest poultry producer in the world.
“Tyson will invest MXP$1.5 billion and Trasgo, their partner company, around MXP$300 million”, Juan Francisco Gutierrez Fragoso, State of Durango Minister of Economic Development, said and further added that the Project will generate 1,500 jobs in the region.
Esteban Rosas, Deputy Secretary of the Economy, said that the investment will be made throughout 2012, with the purpose of improving poultry production by adopting new technologies.
