Mexico.- Audi, the hi-end vehicles assembler, currently has 7 assembly plants throughout the world; they also have an assembly line at Martorell, Spain, in Seat Plant. The company is currently building another plant in China, so the plant Audi will build in Mexico will be their number 9 in the world, and it will also be the first in the Americas, i.e. in the Dollar zone.
For several years now, Audi has been planning to have a plant in the American Continent, taking into consideration the market this zone represents and low production costs found here, among other reasons.
