Mexico City,- In a meeting held by Spaniard hoteliers with Adriana Perez Quesnel, head of the Mexican Tourism Promotion Agency, Fonatur, they showed interest in several projects, such as Teacapan Integrally Planned Centers, to be developed in Sinaloa; Capomo in Nayarit and Huatulco; which opens investment possibilities by Spaniard businessmen in Mexico.This took place during a business trip made by the Ministry of Tourism, where Ms. Perez Quesnel said that Teacapan project will have a public investment for US$924 million, while the private investment will amount to US$13.203 billion. For Capomo, a public investment of US$128 million is being considered and will receive private investment for around US$1.446 billion.
Investment opportunities brought by “Huatulco Renaissance” and the soon to be launched Loreto Project are also attractive for the Spaniard market. Loreto will receive public investment for US$462 million and private investment of approximately US$11.681 billion, generating around 70,000 direct jobs and 160,000 indirect jobs.
