Santander, Spain.- Mexico would be a very vigorous country if it accelerated some of its pending issues, including the fiscal reform, which would allow it face any external blow, since the European crisis is dangerous and is stuck due to lack of agreements. While participating in the XI Santander-Latin America Encounter, Enrique Iglesias, Secretary-General of the Ibero-American Cooperation Secretariat (SECIB), assured the above and said that a complicated economic environment prevails, where the crisis at Europe has prevented countries at the area from reaching prompt agreements.
He said he is optimistic regarding Mexico and the structure of the new Congress, that will start sessions next September 1st, to begin the fiscal reform process since, in addition, it does not start from zero for progress has been made on this matter, but neither will it be done in just one day, because a deep analysis has to be made and the several parties must reach political agreements.
