Silao, Guanajuato.-Only a day after Japanese investors broke ground in Guanajuato Inland Port to build the premises that will host the automotive supplier THK, another company from this sector was inaugurated in Silao. Investors from the United States opened ACCUGEARin Las Colinas Industrial Plant; components for automotive differentials will be manufactured in this plant.
This is an extension of American Axle, a company that has been making business for 15 years now at this municipality. Richard Dauchs, the company’s President, said that the factory inaugurated yesterday is devoted to assembling auto parts for vehicles built in five countries, such as the United States, Brazil and even Mexico.
ACCUGEAR will initially generate 90 jobs in Silao, but Mr. Dauchs called workers to do their best so that their labor force grows throughout the years. Also, around 150 mixed jobs related to this investment should be created.
