Mexico City.- From a global outlook, Mexico is in a privileged situation to grow economically, ready to develop and with perspectives that are enviable to many European countries. These were the words with which Martin Senn, President and CEO of Zurich, the international insurance firm, speaks about Mexico.
Prior to his participation in the World Economic Forum for Latin America 2012, being held in Puerto Vallarta this week, he says: “Mexico is in a better position than many European countries”.
For Senn, lack of safety perceived throughout Mexico is not an issue that darkens Mexico’s near future. “I am not sure this is an issue of particular importance, compared to other countries’. I am not sure”, he answered when asked his opinion on this issue. He considers that the government is taking well its responsibility to solve the situation, and that makes him feel confident.
