Mexico City.- Mexico is one of the most promising emerging markets in the world, President Felipe Calderon declared, and further said that according to forecasts, by mid century Mexico will rank fifth or sixth among the most important economies in the world.
During the event "Siemens, Working for a Sustainable Mexico", President Calderon pointed out that Mexico is now considered to be in the second wave of emerging economies, currently underway.
“Mexico is one of the most attractive countries for foreign investment, it is a role model among countries members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); the second economy expected to post the largest growth this year, after Chile”, President Calderon said.
He assured that last year Mexico grew more than Brazil and that it will probably do it again this year.
