Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. — The Monterrey-based company Metal Systems may generate 30 direct jobs, since in six years they tripled their sales with 11% fewer employees. With new stamping presses and rollers, they are under the process of investing US$5 million in Stainless Steel Class A material.“We have invested US$1.5 million in a press with capacity to stamp pieces on stainless steel. We are now in the process of investing US$1 million in another 1,500 ton press and US$4 million in new rollers, because we are growing in Monterrey”, Alejandro Hovelman, CEO, affirmed.
This medium-sized company has 180 employees and supplies stamped parts for seats, airbags and components for brake systems. Some of their customers are Chrysler, Johnson Control, Continental, Delphi, Faurecia, Metalsa, Takata and Vitro.
