Monterrey, Mexico.- With the purpose of supplying the Mexican market, the US-based company GreenStar is planning to build in Nuevo Leon a plant to assemble public lighting devices with LED lamps.
GreenStar, which has Mexican capital, was born in San Antonio, Texas in 2009 and started selling their lamps in Mexico last year to companies like Villacero, Price Costco, Grupo Lala and Puebla and Tamulipas governments.
The plant would start first with the expansion of the distribution center they currently have in San Nicolas Municipality, to later move to some industrial park in Apodaca, with an initial production of 4,000 lamps per month and the generation of 50 direct jobs.
