Saltillo, Coahuila.- The logistics company Kuehne+Nagel was inaugurated last week in Santa Maria Industrial Park, after a US$10 million investment, generating 90 direct Jobs. The new German plant provides air, sea and land transportation, as well as storage and distribution services.
The inauguration was attended by Retto Maslfatti, CEO in Mexico, as well as Florian Paugan, Regional Director; Javier Guerrero Garcia, Minister of Economic Development; Victor Mohamar Servin, Vice-president, Davisa; and Ramos Arizpe City Mayor, Ramon Oceguera, among others.
In his message, Reto Maslfatti said that this is the company’s first operation in Ramos Arizpe, and their main customer is Magna. He further added that Kuehne+Nagel currently operates 14 warehouses and distribution centers in Mexico, where 2,000 people are employed, 90 of them at this municipality.
