Guadalajara, Mexico.- By the second half of the year, at least three companies linked to Information Technologies (IT) will establish in Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, which will generate 700 specialized jobs. Jacobo Gonzalez, Head of Investment Promotion with Jalisco Ministry of Economic Promotion, said that the average investment by each of these companies will be between US$5 and US$10 million, but with high value added jobs.
“These projects do not require a large investment because they are not going to buy buildings, they will most likely lease, either a building or several floores”, he said, adding that these companies will disclose further details about their investment plans once their arrival to the State is official.
Mr. Gonzalez said that they are working with no less than 28 investment projects to attract them to the State of Jalisco, linked to electronics industry, IT, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Technological Development Centers.
