Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua,- Martha Alicia Messina, Representative in the State of Chihuahua for the Ministry of the Economy, informed there is a positive trend in the number of companies applying for an authorization for import, services and export activities.

Thirty-four companies have opened or restarted this type of activities in Ciudad Juarez, even if this and last years were hard due to the economic crisis. Thirty-four is a record figure, for in previous years the highest number of applications had been thirty-three, Ms. Messina said. Applicants are companies in several fields, such as storage, commodities, textiles and electronics.
