Mexico City.- Ford de Mexico has plans to sell 12,000 medium size trucks this year, a figure a little higher than last year’s, to keep their 50% share of the Mexican market, Carlos Sanchez, Ford’s Sales Director, declared. In an interview, Mr. Sanchez said that Mexico has agreements with many countries that assemble Japanese vehicles; “But we are always here to be the best competitors, that is why we keep a 50% share of the market and we will always be here with our trucks for our customers, whose loyalty we value so much”.
He said that Ford models F 350, 450 and 550 are imported to the Mexican market; “Models that are leaders in their segment, this means that half of the trucks of such size sold in Mexico have been leading the market for 23 years now”.
