Mexico.- Banco de Mexico informed that six out of every ten specialists in economy and finance consulted considered that the Mexican economy is better than a year before.
The results of the private sector specialists survey for the month of June 2012 shows that 24% of participants considered that the business environment for economic activity will improve when compared to six months before.
The report is disclosed one day after the presidential elections in Mexico, won by the candidate from Partido Revolucionario Institucional and Partido Verde Ecologista, Enrique Peña Nieto. The survey was made among 27 economic analysis and consulting firms between June 19th and June 27th.
Analysts considered that the only way to foster foreign and domestic investment in Mexico is by making structural reforms, such as those related to energy and taxes.
