Mexico.- Personnel occupied in manufacturing industry grew 1.5% last March when compared to even month in 2011, the Mexican Statistics Agency, Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Geografia (INEGI), informed. Based on the Manufacturing Industry Monthly Survey, it pointed-out that non-season figures show that occupied personnel went up 0.50% last March over the previous month.
During January-March 2012, personnel occupied in manufacturing industry posted 1.9% year-to-year increase, a press release informs.
It is to be mentioned that according to statistical data, in its annual comparison employment in manufacturing industry in March kept the positive performance it has maintained in the last two years, even if at a slower pace, while in non-season figures there have been increases for three months in a row.
