Coahuila, Mexico.- Construction of what will be Fiat Ducato Project plant, being raised on Chrysler Derramadero’s land, shows remarkable progress. Over 400 people are working in this project, generating an important economic contribution to the several economic sectors related to construction.
In the meanwhile, construction of IMMI, an auto parts supplier for Daimler Truck (Freightliner) assembly plant, shows 80% progress, according to information provided by Arnoldo Saucedo Davila, Head of Government Relations for Desarrollos Industriales Alianza.
“We will deliver the industrial building next May, which currently shows 80% advance, – he explained – and taking into consideration two months to install machinery and equipment, we believe it will be late in July or in August when the company starts operations. MXP$49 million are being invested in this company, which will generate 300 direct jobs, 150 in the initial stage”.
