Washington.- The top three vehicles assemblers in the USA posted new increases in sales in March, headed by Chrysler Group (34%), followed by the world leader in the sector, General Motors (12%) and Ford (5%). Data published today by the Three Big of Detroit, US motor capital, show a new month of raising sales, thanks to Americans access to credit, optimism from economic improvement and the good acceptance of fuel-efficient models amidst an increase in oil prices.
General Motors (GM) sold 231,052 vehicles in March, almost half (100,000) were low-consumption models, with yield over 12.15 kilometers per liter; Chevrolet, which increase was 16.8%, was greatly responsible for the improvement.
