Mexico City—Global economic environment is improving, which has reflected on the Mexican economy, where recent data show favorable behavior with a positive outlook for this year, the Private Sector’s Economic Studies Center, Centro de Estudios Economicos del Sector Privado (CEESP), pointed-out. In spite of the insistence by some organizations about a negative environment for the economic future, general market behavior seems to have offset difficulties up to now.
At least in Mexico, it says, in spite of businessmen’s concern, the private sector is convinced that they must keep on working on strengthening the productive apparatus in order to achieve greater economic growth.
In this context, the Mexican Council of Businessmen, Consejo Mexicano de Hombres de Negocios (CMHN), has plans to make investments amounting to US$34 billion in 2012, which will allow strengthening several sectors and potentiate activities aimed to both the domestic and foreign markets.
