Mexico City.- Soon to be 42, Sergio Aguilar is the first Mexican taking the wheel of Bosch automotive business in Mexico, a track where he will press the accelerator.
“I have been CEO for six months, even if I have been working for almost 20 years in the automotive industry. I joined Bosch two years ago in the sales area. I was the first Mexican CEO for the division, they trusted us”, he says in an interview.
Bosch has ten plants in Mexico, of which six are devoted to manufacturing components and machinery for the automotive industry. Close to 80% of their production is exported.
