Mexico.- In the next few years the competition to create and get jobs will be increasingly bigger. “Low cost” concept will dominate over practically every sector, and companies will have to resort to outsourcing their processes, to avoid generating permanent jobs and being in the position to react swiftly to demand fluctuations.
Life expectation will make us stay longer at work and will increase retirement age, the fight for a job will become even more critical; therefore, the most imperative issue will be generating good jobs.
In Mexico, the segments that are posting the highest growth are related to manufacturing industry, specifically automotive industry and more recently aeronautics industry.
The importance of the automotive industry is obvious, for it generates almost one million direct jobs (55,000 in original equipment manufacturers, 582,591 in auto parts industry and the rest among dealerships, spare parts market and workshops).
