Mexico City.- In the last few years the competition to create and find jobs has turned harder, for 2020-2030 term the number of people in working age will go from 47 million to 70 million; therefore the number of jobs must be increased.
Fastest growing segments are related to manufacturing industry, specifically automotive industry and more recently aeronautics industry.
The importance of this sector is obvious, for it generates almost one million direct jobs, 55,000 by original equipment manufacturers, 582,591 in auto parts industry and the rest among dealerships, spare parts market and workshops.
This figure is expected to go up, thanks to new investments announced in the last few months. For example, Japanese companies will generate employment; Honda will create 3,200 jobs, Mazda around 3,000 and Nissan 3,000 direct jobs and 9,000 indirect jobs.
