Mexico.- Alestra is planning to invest MXP$1.2 billion in Mexico during 2012 for the upkeep and increase of their telecommunications network to reach 17,000 kilometers long.
In a press release, the Mexican Communications and Information Technologies firm informed that these investments will allow reinforcing their coverage to the 50 major cities in Mexico.
“Through this network, which has great capacity for voice, data and video communications with last generation Ethernet technology, the company will reach coverage over 17,000 kilometers in Mexico”, Alestra said.
